Amidst IPL and T20 fever, everyone raises doubts over the survival of test cricket. People started saying 'T20 is the future of cricket, 20-20 will slowly vanish test cricket format' etc.. I feel , Test cricket is the only format of cricket which 'TESTS' a cricketer's character and temperament. Does anyone deny if i say its a treat watching Dravid's elegant cover drive, Sachin' s paddle sweep or straight drive, Sourav's square drive, Laxman's wristy flick, Lara's backlifted pull, Ponting's timely hook, than watching some scoops and slogging in T20. Though T20 produces some new cricketing shots which we can enjoy, it' s always a pleasure watching test cricket.Test cricket produces quality cricket shots which will be registered in cricket's text book whereas T20 produces innovative shots which may disappear after some time. Comparing Test cricket with T20 is not fair, since each format has got its own quality. In my words, Watch T20 to ...
