An honest, poignant,
well- articulated book that highlights and provides the required acumen to the
very core issues of our own Country. The author of
this book has recorded the fundamental issues Political Leadership, Population,
Education System, Media and Religion as the hindrance for the growth and prosperity
of our country and the citizens.
The Author being
our own countrymen needn’t have to analyze or dig deep to understand the above-mentioned core issues that actually
hinders the growth of this Country in almost all aspects. All I have to do is to agree with the author and nothing much
as we all know this already and living with it.
As far as the Electoral
System and Political Leadership we all know the current state of it and all of
us wanted this to improve for the benefit
of the entire nation. In this front, the
author states that people with narrow emotional sphere should be removed from
big responsibilities and I don’t think anyone would disagree with this. All we
as citizens needed is a leader who is not
selfish and works towards building a nation which demonstrates all-inclusive
development. We are fed up with the kind of leaders who promotes nepotism, who
takes the electoral system for granted in the name of democracy, secularism
etc.
The author
rightly points out the flaws in the current Education System and provides
certain measures to tackle those as well. Personally,
I feel though certain suggestions like IT-enabled
teachings etc. are practically not viable at this point of time due to the
diversity and versatility of this Country and not to mention the poor
infrastructure and governance part of it. Having said that, I’m happy that nowadays
great Corporate Leaders like the author are coming out with all possible suggestions
for the betterment of our Country. Since
people have started voicing their opinions publicly I feel this kind of thought provoking reads will open
up our minds and definitely act as a catalyst.
